Truck Crash Kills Young Man

Bay County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a crash in Monitor Township just before 6:00 Saturday morning. A pickup truck struck a culvert after apparently running off East Wheeler Road. Deputies closed Wheeler between Mackinaw and Four Mile Roads for more than two hours while they investigated the crash which killed a 25 year old Bay City man. The victim was the only occupant of the truck. His name was withheld so family members could be properly notified.
