Midland County Woman Dies After Car Crash

A woman was killed in a Midland County crash on Wednesday.

Police say the 34-year-old Warren Township woman was driving a 2003 Buick Century west on West Saginaw Road around 8:30 A.M. in Geneva Township when a 61-year-old man from Isabella County driving a 2019 Chevy Silverado heading east attempted turning north onto Frank Street, directly in the path of the woman’s vehicle, causing a collision.

The woman was taken to MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, where she later died from her injuries, according to police. The man did not require treatment.

Police say there’s no evidence to suggest drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. The case will be sent to the Midland County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
