Bay County authorities say a small plane crashed Saturday night around 8:30 at James Clements Airport. An eyewitness  Amber Wolf said she saw the plane making a turn while towing a banner and the plane flipped upside down and fell onto the airfield.  The 27 year old pilot was freed from the wreckage and flown by helicopter to Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw with what were described as  life-threatening injuries.  The pilot was the only person on the plane. He is from Arkansas.  Bay County Sheriff’s   Department said the airport will be closed until Federal officials complete their investigation.
