Monitor Township Fire Considered Suspicious

An early morning fire in bay County’s Monitor Township is being called suspicious. It was reported about 4:15 a.m. Friday at 5033 South 2 Mile Road. Much of the house was burning when firefighters arrived.
A man and his dog who lived there got out safely. Investigators say the fire started on a porch and is considered suspicious. The home is a total loss.
