She’s been holding down the airwaves (and everything else) at Kiss 107.1 for the past decade, and now, she is getting some well deserved honors!

Kiss 107.1’s Content Director & your “favorite afternoon girlfriend,” Yvonne Daniels, is gracing the cover of Word Up Community Magazine’s Black Music Month issue. In the cover story, Daniels mentions:

This has been such an eye opening and impactful journey. I wake up every morning excited about what needs to be done to make sure Kiss 107.1 is not only the best sounding station, but also the best at serving our listeners in the community. We are blessed to have such a powerful platform and I want to make sure that we tap out all of our serving ability. I am so thankful for my team because teamwork makes the dream work. We are making great strides in helping to unite the community and we are excited about ‘what’s next’ here at the station and for Saginaw.

In addition, Daniels received a big honor at The Alliance of Women in Media Foundation’s GRACIE Awards. She was announced as the winner for “Best Host Non-Morning Drive (Music DJ/ Personality) Small/Medium Market [Radio – Local]” for her long-running “Kiss In The Afternoon” show. She was honored at the GRACIE Awards Luncheon on June 26 in New York.
