BREAKING: Kevin Hart Sued for Assault & Battery

TMZ is reporting that comedian/actor Kevin Hart is being sued for an assault committed by a member of his team following an event in January.

According to court documents, a woman identified as Carmen Marrero claims that she was walking down a NYC sidewalk as Hart and his entourage were leaving a SAG-AFTRA Foundation screening of his recent film, The Upside. When exiting, it is alleged that one of Hart’s bodyguards shoved her to the ground as they were trying to exit. As a result, Marrero allegedly suffered a fracture in her face.

She is now suing Hart, his production company and SAG-AFTRA for assault & battery, and she is gunning for a big payday. At press time, Hart and his team did not respond to TMZ’s request for a comment.
