The late Eartha Kitt may have be known for her sexy cat-like purr, but she would have scratched like a real one if anyone stole her man.

Actress Jackée Harry, who starred on “227” and “Sister, Sister,” went down memory lane on Wednesday. A fan tweeted, “What’s the most surreal encounter you’ve had with someone famous?”

Harry, 62, promptly responded with a story about Kitt.

“Eartha Kitt slapped the f%#! outta me!” Harry said. “She thought I was sleeping with her boyfriend… which I was, but I didn’t know he was taken.”

Harry’s response immediately got everyone’s attention and the questions came flying in.

Someone pondered how a man had “enough juice” to successful get with Harry and Kitt, who starred as Catwoman in the “Batman” TV series in the ’60s.

“He didn’t just eat the groceries, he restocked the shelves,” Harry quipped without naming the mystery man.

She did give a few clues saying, “He was a dual piano ‘playa.’ We didn’t know he was going to tickle both of our keys.”

Kitt, who was also a well-touted singer (“Santa Baby” and “C’est Si Bon”) and made appearances in big films including “Holes” and “Boomerang,” died on December 25, 2008. She was 81.
