Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash

A 19-year-old woman from Clare is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Isabella County. It happened about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at East Blue Grass Road and South Isabella in Union Township. State Police at the Mt.Pleasant post said the victim drove her car into the path of a pickup truck at the intersection. She was taken to McLaren Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, where she was pronounced dead.

The other driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries. The crash is under investigation.
