Tyra Banks Steps Out of Retirement To SLAY Sports Illustrated Swim 2019 Issue

Sometimes, it is good to see some of the veterans step out once in a while to show the young girls how it’s done. This is absolutely no exception.

This morning, the three cover models for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue were revealed, and one of them is a familiar face: Tyra Banks, who is actually the first Black model to ever appear on the cover of the legendary issue, back in 1996. Now, 23 years later, the now 45-year-old modeling legend is showing off alongside Olympic soccer player Alex Morgan and model Camille Kostek in three individual covers. Banks and Kostek appeared on Good Morning America today to discuss the big news, which you can watch above. The issue, already proving to be its most diverse issue yet, is on newsstands now!
