Two Charged In Midland Woman’s Death

Charges have been filed in a Midland woman’s death.

Police say 47-year-old Kari Hatfield was first run over then shot in the head on November 23. Hatfield was found lying in the road near the intersection of Perkins and South 12th streets in Saginaw. She died at a local hospital.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the woman’s death: Thomas C. Baskin Jr. and Henry M. Linzy III. Police say the men were found in Hatfield’s vehicle, which was covered in blood. The suspects are charged with open murder, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, tampering with evidence, and three counts of felony firearm. Their next court appearance is December 17.
