Three New Beach Closures in Bay County

High levels of bacteria have caused the Bay County Health Department to issue closure notices for three beaches. Testing on Wednesday prompted the closure of South Linwood Beach, Brissette Beach and Pinconning Park.

The closures mean the water at those beaches does not meet state water quality standards for full body contact recreational activities like swimming. Once the water is back in compliance, the health department will notify the public.
