Rapper/actor T.I. recently took to social media to slam media outlet TMZ and its owner, Harvey Levin, following an inappropriate report on the cause of death for his older sister, Precious Harris. Precious, who appeared with the rapper on his VH1 reality series, The Family Hustle, passed away earlier this year at the age of 66, following a car crash.

This week, TMZ ran a story on the official cause of death. According to that report, TMZ stated that the Fulton County (GA) Medical Examiner found cocaine in her system at the time of her death. Once TMZ ran with that story, T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) immediately took to Instagram Live to slam the report.

Following that, TMZ issued an apology for their “wrong and inappropriate” reporting. They have since edited the original article in a more sensitive tone.
