Suspects Identified in Saginaw Township Shooting
Saginaw Township Police detectives have obtained arrest warrants against two men following an early morning shooting Thursday. The incident in the area of N. Center and Joyce left a 19-year-old Saginaw Township man hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say one of the suspects, identified as a 21-year-old Zilwaukee man was arrested late Thursday and is being held in the Saginaw County Jail. The other man, identified as 20-year-old Dakota Allen-Edward Lapointe of Saginaw is still at large. He also goes by the name “Rico,” and has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye, and the numbers “989” on the right side of his neck.
Saginaw Township Police have posted a request for assistance locating Lapointe on their Facebook page. Police say you should call 911 immediately if you know his whereabouts.
The name of the other suspect and charges against the two will be released at the time of their arraignments.
