The Davidson Building in downtown Bay City is now the new home and corporate headquarters to ShineWater, LLC. Rod Hildebrant and Matthew Meehan of Bay City have acquired ShineWater, formerly a Charleston, South Carolina company.  “We are excited to be bringing operations to the great state of Michigan and our incredible community here in Bay City.  Our relocation has already created several new jobs locally, and as we continue our national expansion our corporate team will grow as well,” says Matthew Meehan, Co-Owner of ShineWater on bringing jobs to the Great Lakes Bay Region.

ShineWater is currently widely available in the Southeastern United States and is now seeking wider distribution in the Midwest, with additional retail launches scheduled in late 2019 and early 2020.  Their goal is nationwide distribution in 2021.

The company said the drink was developed by a physician as a wellness and sports beverage infused with vitamin D, essential electrolytes (potassium, magnesium, calcium), zinc and antioxidants. It has no sugar and 20 calories per bottle. The drink comes in 4 flavors: Strawberry Lemon, Poma-Grape, Kiwi Cucumber, and Peach Mango.

Locally ShineWater can be purchased at The Pantry inside of City Market or Baysics Variety Store, located at 926 Washington Ave.

Ahead of its Midwest Distribution, ShineWater has partnered with Baysics Variety Store for a special giveaway. Now through Saturday, October 26, customers can receive a free variety pack that includes twelve bottles of the drink. One pack per customer will be available while supplies last. It normally retails for $25.95.
