A Saginaw County man has been arraigned in the shooting death of a Bay City man.

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Brandon Dupuis is charged with numerous felonies, including first-degree murder, first-degree home invasion, assault with intent to commit armed robbery and felony weapons charges. Dupuis is accused of breaking into the home of 39-year-old Tyler Gruber in the 500 block of N. Henry St. in the early morning hours on Monday, July 29 and shooting him to death. A second victim, a 24-year-old man, suffered a non-life threatening gunshot to the leg. He was treated at Hurley Medical Center in Flint.

Dupuis has a prior record of home invasion and drug convictions dating back to 2009. He’s pleaded not guilty and is being held without bond.
