A Saginaw County Sheriff’s deputy is charged with a couple of misdemeanors stemming from a domestic incident earlier in August.

38-year-old Ryan Stockford was arraigned Wednesday, August 28 for drunk driving with a person under the age of 16 and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence. The incident occurred while he was off duty.

A woman claimed she and Stockford had a verbal argument in Merrill August 4. He allegedly left the area with his six-year-old daughter after he had been drinking.

Stockford is currently on paid administrative leave and was released on bond after his arraignment.
