Public Housing In Bay City Discussed At Length

The future of public housing in Bay City may include fewer scattered sites and a new more concentrated development.
City Housing Commission administrators met with City Commissioners for about 90 minutes Monday evening. Both sides say more talks lie ahead that may include coordinating financing requests with federal officials.
One potential development site might be the former YMCA on Madison which the Housing Commission acquired in August of 2017.
