Power Outages Hit Area as Heat Wave Begins

More than 1,300 Consumers Energy Customers in Saginaw County and nearly 250 in Midland County were without power Thursday afternoon. Consumers crews were trying to find the cause. The intersection of State and Hemmeter in Saginaw Township had wires down and a traffic light out for a period of time.
