No injuries were reported after a Pinconning man allegedly threatened guests at a Ludington area hotel on Tuesday.

Deputies with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the Comfort Inn on US-10 in Pere Marquette Township around 6:30 P.M. after receving a call a man threatened two guests with a gun. An area of the building was evacuated and it was determined the 40-year-old suspect was in his room. Police negotiators were able to convince the man to come out peacefully around 9:00 P.M.

The suspect was taken into custody on charges of felony assault and brandishing a weapon and is being held in the Mason County Jail.
