Persons of Interest Interviewed in Bad Axe Robbery

Two people of interest have been questioned related to a robbery in Bad Axe Wednesday, October 23. T

The robbery took place at the Advance America Cash Advance at 862 N. VanDyke Rd around 10:00 a.m. Surveillance footage shows a man with an umbrella enter the store wearing a white face covering, dark coat, ball cap and white hood. He demanded an employee open lock boxes and a safe after indicating he had a weapon. He then left in a dark colored pickup truck.

Police have recovered the umbrella, cash, clothing and other evidence, though no criminal charges are currently issued. They have not been identified by police.
