Pepsi Drops First-Ever Trailer for Super Bowl Halftime Show

Well…this is a first!

To build up anticipation for this year’s Super Bowl 56 festivities, Pepsi has just dropped its first-ever trailer for their sponsored Halftime Show. Directed by famed director F. Gary Gray (FridayStraight Outta Compton), the spot, called The Call, features headliners Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar in the midst of their respective creative “zones.” One by one, they are summoned to the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA for what is sure to be one of the most memorable performances in NFL history.

According to AdWeek, “‘The Call’ leads the brand’s larger pre-show campaign, which includes the recent launch of Pepsi’s Super Bowl Halftime Show app. According to the brand, the new platform will include behind-the-scenes footage, sweepstakes, and immersive experiences leading up to the main event.”
