Actress Nia Long has finally commented on the cheating scandal involving her fiancé Ime Udoka, coach for the Boston Celtics. One would think that the embarrassment of being cheated on publicly would be her first thought. She revealed recently that the most heartbreaking thing about the incident was seeing her son’s face when the Boston Celtics made a very private matter public.

She also added, to add insult to injury, not one person from the entire Boston Celtics organization called to see if she or her children were doing ok after the matter became public. I remember watching a reporter on a popular TV Tabloid show approaching Nia and their young son as they were preparing to leave in their car. The reporter asked Nia about how she was doing after the news broke, in front of Nia’s and Ime’s 11 year old son. I was both shocked and offended that they would ask her that question period, let alone in front of their minor child. My heart broke when I looked in her face after the question was asked. She remained silent as they got in the car and drove away.

Nia recently put up a photo on her IG page that leads people to believe that she’s moved out of the home she shared with her fiancé into a new home. The caption reads, thankful for the gift of new places and new spaces, along with a picture of beautiful, modern home. The picture has since been deleted. Wishing Nia and her family nothing but the best during this challenging time.
