The Hell’s Half Mile Film and Music Festival kicked off a three day fundraiser Thursday at the new Drydock Beer Garden in Bay City’s privately owned Unity Park downtown on Center Avenue.

Festival Director Alan LaFave  is co-manager of Drydock which is a partnership with the State Theatre.  LaFave says Drydock which is a 20 foot by 8 foot shipping container converted into an open air bar will help other non-profits raise money.

LaFave added Drydock is fully booked through October and the holidays with hours from 5 to 9 P-M Thursday’s through Saturday’s.  He says 2020 dates are available. To learn more find Drydock Beer Garden on Facebook.
