Munger Potato Festival Off To A Big Start

Organizers are hoping as many as 30,000 people turn out for this weekend’s Munger Potato Festival.

Chairman Rod  Pavlawk says activities kicked off Thursday with the selection of the king and queen, carnival rides and arena racing. Pavlawk noted 10 bands will be rotating throughout
the weekend with Kids Day Saturday. He added Sunday will  feature chicken dinners beginning at 11 AM followed by the  Parade at 1 PM.
