McDonald’s Introducing “Menu Hacks” Menu

Remember that time when you went to McDonald’s and asked for multiple items to make up your own sandwich? Like, putting together a McChicken and a McDouble, or maybe using hashbrowns as a bun for your McMuffin?

Well…the franchise remembers, and for a limited time, those favorites will officially be a part of the menu.

Starting January 31, McDonald’s will sell four fan-favorite “menu hacks” by name, a first for the franchise. This special menu will be available in-store and on the McDonald’s app, according to CNN. However, there is a catch: The ingredients will be sold separately, so you will still have to put it together yourself. (Wait, so what’s the point?!)

Here are the four “menu hacks” that will be available to order by name:

  • Hash Brown McMuffin – Sausage McMuffin with a hash brown inside for extra crunch (available only during breakfast hours)
  • Crunchy Double – An order of the 6-piece McNuggets, to be placed inside a double cheeseburger
  • Land, Air, and Sea – A combo of a McChicken, Big Mac, and Filet-o-Fish on one bun
  • Surf and Turf – A Filet-o-Fish combined with a double cheeseburger (only available on the McDonald’s App or through delivery)
