Kanye West is back in the news, and luckily it’s not another rant. The rapper and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian have resolved the issues regarding their children and can now move on to co-parenting successfully. Kanye has agreed to pay $200,00 per month in child support or $50,000 per child. He is also responsible for for half of the expenses related to tuition, health care, security, etc. Kanye and Kim will share physical and legal custody of the children, an issue that he was vocally passionate about.

Now many people will argue that it doesn’t take $50,000 per month to raise a child; some families don’t live off of $50,000 a year. However, considering that both parents are wealthy, their everyday expenses are probably unbelievable to the average person. I doubt if they clip coupons, wait for items to go on sale, or buy things off the rack. With having two mega celebrities as parents, security is not an option and it’s costly. Now consider security 24/7, nannies, etc.; it’s easy to see where $50,000 per month can go. Do you think Kanye has to pay too much in child support considering he shares custody with Kim 50/50? Should there be a cap or maximum amount granted for child support cases?  Read the full story on our Kiss 107.1 Facebook page and leave your comments there!
