Is Sen. Kamala Harris Running For President in 2020?!

With the 2020 Presidential Election now a hop, skip, and a jump away, the media has been speculating about who could possibly kick our current celebrity-in-chief, Donald Trump, out of the White House. One strong possibility is Kamala Harris, the Democratic junior senator from California.

According to a CBS Radio affiliate in the Bay Area, sources are saying that Harris is getting ready to officially announce her run over the MLK holiday weekend in her hometown of Oakland. However, when she stopped by The Late Show to promote her new book, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, she was pretty much muted. When asked about a possible presidential run by host Stephen Colbert, Harris gave a simple answer: “I might.”

We’re just going to have to wait and see! In the meantime, check out Harris’ chat with Colbert in the video above!

SIDENOTE: A reporter was dragged on Twitter for reporting “screeching” at Sen. Harris’ book stop in DC. The “screeching” is actually the official call for Harris’ sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. More on that here.
