Huron County Sheriff’s deputies helped take in an injured Eagle Yesterday Morning, after being found in a field-driveway.

The bird was found around 7am on Grassmere rd, just north of M-142, in Oliver Township by resident Nehemiah Messing.

Messing helped Huron County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Hunt capture and transport the bird back to Hunt’s residence until it could be taken to a Wild Bird Rescue Area.

It’s unknown exactly how the bird was injured, but pictures provided by the Huron County Sheriff’s office show it may have had an issue flying because of one of its wings.
