We’re into our second year of the Covid-19 pandemic, and things are slowly getting back to normal. That means many of your favorite artists are hitting the road and going on tour. Beyonce’, Janet Jackson, SZA and New Edition are some of the artists hitting the stage at your favorite arena or stadium this summer, and I know you’ll be in the building, right? Because of the pandemic, inflation has hit a record high, and this includes paying premium prices to see your favorite artist perform. How much would you pay for a meet and greet/photo opportunity with your fav?

Chris Brown offered this biggest fans the opportunity for a meet and greet/photo opportunity for $1,000 per person. Many people were outraged, except the fans who willingly paid for the chance. The looks on the faces of his happy fans as they posed for pictures was priceless. Chris was also accommodating enough to pose for silly pictures, including picking fans up and recreating classic couple poses from the 80’s and 90’s. For those fans, it was clearly worth every penny.

Janet is going on tour, and average ticket prices range from $60-$500 dollars. Tickets offered by resellers are going for thousands, and it doesn’t include a meet and greet. If they offered a meet and greet, how much would you pay to meet the baby girl of the famous Jackson family? How much would you pay for a concert ticket and meet and greet opportunity. A weeks pay? How about one month’s pay? For some loyal fans, there’s no price to high to meet their idols.

I just might have to check my 401k balance… and take a loan out to meet and greet with Janet Jackson. There’s an old saying, “When it costs you money, you’ll never forget it”. That’s the purpose.
