So, last night, CBS aired the GRAMMYS special commemorating the 60th anniversary of Motown Records, and it was….something.

Of course it was great to see a lot of the contemporary artists perform alongside the Motown greats, including Smokey Robinson (who also hosted), Diana Ross, and the like. Saginaw’s own Stevie Wonder also gave a rousing performance of I’d Never Dreamed You’d Leave in Summer that did not leave a dry eye in the house.

However, there were also some questionable moments. Why was Ciara chosen to do Rick James? Did we really need Jennifer Lopez doing an encore of her mixed-reviewed Grammy performance? And the biggest question of all: WHERE IN THE HECK WERE THE JACKSON 5?!?! (Actually, given that this special was filmed in February, we can kinda figure out why they were left out. SMH)

Anyway, check out some of the highlights of Motown 60 above.
