Four of six suspects arrested so far in connection with a robbery at Showtime Guns and Ammo in Saginaw Township on Aug. 2 were students at Heritage High School. Saginaw Township Community Schools Superintendent Bruce Martin confirmed to WNEM TV-5 that the four students were on the varsity football team roster, but are no longer on the team. He expressed hope that the investigation will show the students were not involved.

State Police and federal authorities executed 5 search warrants on Tuesday in the Saginaw area, arresting 5 adults and 1 juvenile. More arrests were expected. An estimated 40 to 50 guns were stolen in the robbery. State Police said they recovered six of the guns during the searches.
