A 25-year-old victim in a fatal Hampton Township crash has been identified.

Police say Bradley Webster was driving with his 22-year-old wife along a trail off the end of Nolet Road on Saturday, June 29 when their SUV went over the edge into a water filled ditch. Webster was unable to get out of the overturned vehicle. The woman used a tire iron to smash out a window to free herself. Police say the vehicle might not have been found for quite some time if the woman hadn’t escaped as the water level is deeper than usual.

Police are urging cation to people who drive down trails near water, as rains have caused flooded areas where it is impossible to determine the water depth and culverts and ground supports have washed out in many locations.
