I just learned that matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, is being sued by her former bodyguard for sexual harassment for three million dollars. The charges include allegations of Kris exposing herself to the African American plaintiff, Marc McWilliams and giving him unwanted and unsolicited massages. With the #MeToo movement being a sensitive topic and the fact that she created the Kardashian empire and amassed a fortune of nearly a quarter billion dollars, it’s strange that this story isn’t picking up any traction. Wait, it get stranger…

R and B singer Ray J, who infamously “starred” in a sex tape featuring Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian, has gone public saying he has “the receipts” regarding the release of the sex tape”. Ray J said that not only was Kris the mastermind behind releasing the tape, she also viewed the tape and made suggestions on which footage should be used for the release. No mainstream media outlets picked up the story to interview Ray J.  The closest anyone came to confronting Jenner about her involvement was a tongue in cheek skit with TV personality James Corden. She was also given a lie detector test by Corden regarding her involvement and passed. Don’t forget, lie detector tests administered by professionals aren’t admitted into evidence in criminal trials, because they aren’t reliable.

I’m not saying or implying that Kris has done anything wrong , but it’s obvious that the media’s infatuation with her and the Kardashian family has obviously skewed the way they report stories, if they report them at all. But it doesn’t stop there, Do you think the media covered the R. Kelly story with the same aggression they covered the Harvey Weinstein story? If anyone is to blame, it’s those who write and report the news with rose colored glasses on, which unfortunately, don’t always paint an accurate picture of the facts. There’s an old saying, “don’t hate the player, hate the game!”
