Fans of Aaliyah petition to induct her into the RRHOF!

The world stood still on August 25,2001 when it was announced that R and B phenomenon Aaliyah had been killed in an airplane crash in the Bahamas. Though she was still a mere 22 years old, and had a discography that only included 3 CD’s. her influence on the music scene was, and still is, evident to this day.

A petition to induct her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was started by one of her biggest fans, who wrote, “Everyone from Beyoncé, Rihanna & Drake to Normani, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande & The Weeknd … among many other popular artists whom all have credited Aaliyah as a source of inspiration to their music and careers.”
