On Sunday, September 20 at 2pm, Victorious Believers Ministries (VBM) will join thousands of churches across the United States in observing National Back to Church Sunday by hosting a special drive-in outdoor worship service on the church’s 16-acre property.
National Back to Church Sunday is held on the third Sunday of September every year and is designed as an evangelistic effort to reach out to individuals who have never attended church or who attended at one time and then ceased. The theme for Back To Church Sunday for 2020 is “We Are Stronger Together,” which resounds greatly with members of the faith-based community who are seeking ways to positively impact a world that has been devastated by the deadly (COVID-19) pandemic, economic hardship and political division.
This year’s event will include upbeat live music, dancing, food trucks, and registration booths for the census and voter registration. Attendees will remain safely in their parked cars while enjoying the service. Immediately following the service, attendees will be allowed to leave their cars to patronize the food trucks or visit the informational booths. The ministry is also partnering with Gideon International to provide a free Bibles to any guests who desires one. All attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times in accordance with the Governor’s executive order for outdoor gatherings.
