The Museum Tunes concert series hosted in the gardens at the Saginaw Art Museum will include monthly performances that cross multiple genres. Guests are also invited to explore the museum’s permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. The events are free and open to all ages.
Building on the success of the inaugural series last year, Museum Tunes is quickly becoming a cherished part of the fabric that makes up the many summer events taking place throughout Saginaw. With the goal of creating a space for creativity to flourish and programming that reflects the rich and diverse residents of Saginaw, the Saginaw Art Museum is well suited to connect family, friends, and neighbors through these concerts. Ben Champagne, associate curator at the museum, who assisted with booking the musicians stated, “We are grateful to have such great talent right here in Saginaw, and artists from outside the region. Each will all bring something unique to listeners and this will be a chance to introduce guests to some familiar sounds and new music.”
