Okay fellas. If you’re planning on proposing to your lady anytime soon, I hope you know that you definitely have a tough act to follow.

In a fairy tale moment that has since gone viral, filmmaker Lee Loechler of Massachusetts spent six months preparing an amazing proposal to his high school sweetheart, cardiologist Sthuthi David. She thought that they were going to a regular screening of her favorite Disney flick, Sleeping Beauty. However, Loechler (with the help of illustrator Kayla Coombs) had the ending of the 1957 feature transformed, remaking the drowsy Princess Aurora and her Prince Phillp in the real-life couple’s likenesses. To say that David was confused would be an understatement. Her face was priceless!

The on-screen prince, with the assistance of some “Disney magic,” then tosses the engagement ring to Loechler, who then proceeds to propose in front of the audience of their family and friends. David, of course, said yes!

Check out the epic moment (including the hilarious “alternate ending” in case she said no) in the video above!
