Boy Struck by Car in Frankenmuth

An accident in Frankenmuth Saturday, November 16 sent an 11-year-old boy to the hospital.

Police say a 26-year-old woman was driving in the area of Main and Cass streets around 6:30 p.m. while the boy was crossing the road, striking him with her vehicle. The boy was taken to a Saginaw hospital, then transferred to the University of Michigan.

His condition is unknown at this time. No other details are currently available.
