Bay City Manager Dana Muscott has been tasked by City Commissioners to negotiate a proposed development agreement with United Bridge Partners which would then be brought back to the Commission for final approval.
Muscott said after Monday’s meeting it’s unclear how long it would take to negotiate a deal.
United Bridge Partners wants to take control of the Liberty and Independence Bridges. Tolls would be charged after construction of a new Independence span and the rehabilitation of Liberty Bridge.
American Roads and Kiewit also submitted proposals along with United Bridge Partners.
